Beerburrum State School is a Band 6 primary school
with a current enrolment of 60 students taught in 3 multi-age classrooms. Our
class sizes are smaller; providing a lower teacher-student ratio that supports
learning. Our students benefit from small group and individual learning
opportunities. Teachers collaborate and support each other; making for a happy
and dedicated team.
At our school every member of staff knows every
single child. This is a school community where we know their siblings, parents
and often their extended family members who volunteer in classrooms. Equally all the students know each other and have the
opportunity to take part in activities that span all year levels – allowing
siblings and friends to work together.
Being known by your teachers and peers makes a
difference to belonging and creates sense of unity. It creates positive,
healthy relationships, respect for each other and a sense of pride in our
school and our achievements.
We welcome you and your family to be part of our
school community – experience the small school advantage.
